Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: Yes, we accept walk-ins! We have at least one barber dedicated to serving walk-ins nearly every day! See the walk-in page for walk-in hours. We keep track of who’s waiting for walk-in service with our online sign-in list. You can get on the list online or you can sign up at the computer in the shop. Q: How can I get my name on the online walk-in waiting list?
A: Go to the walk-in page.
Q: When do you take your last walk-in?
A: Our walk-in list closes when there are as many customers waiting as we can serve before closing time. It may reopen if customers leave the line. Sometimes we continue accepting clients until a bit past advertised closing time, and sometimes the list gets full and closes an hour early (or more). See the walk-in page to access the list.
Q: Can I choose barber(s)?
A: You are always welcome to request your preferred barber(s). See our schedule to find out when your favorite barber(s) are available. If you’re coming on a day when your preferred barber(s) offer appointments, an appointment is recommended.
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Most days we have at least one barber dedicated to serving walk-ins. If you want a service from one of the barbers who are offering appointments when they’re offering appointments, an appointment is recommended. Click here for the schedule
Q: How far in advance should I make an appointment?
A: Most of our clients book their appoitments day of, or one to two days in advance.
Q: Does it matter if I schedule on-line or by phone?
A: We think it’s more convenient if you schedule online. You can see all the available times, you’ll get an email confirmation, and you can cancel or reschedule your appointment online up to 1 hour before your scheduled time. If you prefer to book by the old fashioned way, phone us or stop by.
Q: What is your appointment policy?
A: If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so as far in advance as possible, preferably at least one hour. Our appointment policy is listed on the appointment page.
Q: Can I pay with a debit/credit card?
A: Sorry, We only accept cash. We have an ATM for your convenience.
Q: Do you do face shaves?
A: We currently do not have a barber that offers face shaves.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Plenty of metered parking is almost always available in front of our shop. There is also a paid parking lot at 3514 N. Halsted, and a garage at 3224 N. Halsted. We do not provide or validate parking. Free parking (see signs for restrictions) can be had on some of the nearby side streets.
Q: Where is the closest EL stop?
A: We are conveniently located 2.5 blocks from Belmont Red, Brown, and Purple lines.
Q: Where is the closest DIVVY bike station?
A: The closest divvy station is on Roscoe, just east of Halsted, next to 7-11. This is just a couple streets north of the shop.
